Welcome to LR
Also, we are lucky Javontee Herndon didn't get seriously hurt when he rammed his head into the bare concrete after scoring a TD. That place is archaic
If Stephens is such a big deal, pay up for some fricking padding bro

I wish we would use part of this $ increase to lower the upper deck edge seat prices to $35 per seat per game.
To a family of four from downstate, that would make up the gas it takes to come to Fayetteville, and their kids would actually get to see the campus.
I would say $15 for kids $50 for adults (if that could even be done). They're the ones who will be attending the school one day. Going to a Razorback game is a BIG deal, and they're the ones I want to get excited about the program.
Just my opinion

We get an extra $1 million for the Univ and how much extra in NWA business revenue?
Good move Long

You're right, I bet it will be more than that too.

We have had 8 season tickets in Little Rock for over a decade. That's over 160 tickets. (over, because I think there we 3 games in a few years, plus I think it has been 12 years)
I know that's nothing in the grand scheme of things, but I am also sure we are not the only ones that will no longer buy any tickets or make any donations. Not because we are not fans of the Razorbacks, but because Fayetteville is not a viable option tripwise for us and many others.
We'll just watch for free on TV and have a much better view of the game anyway.

Sorry to hear it, but I'm pretty sure this is an economic decision made by Long
People dont get into positions like that by not running the numbers

My family has had season tickets @ WMS since the 70's
I'm not mad!

Why is a trip to Fayetteville "not a viable option"?

That's a good idea about the reduced rates for kids. I remember my first games as a kid and it has a big impact.

Too far and too expensive (by the time you add all the additional expenses) for poor old white trash from South Arkansas. But those are the folks y'all don't want at the games anyway.
I doubt the good folks that sat in front of us (farmer, wife and two children) from Arkansas county will be renewing either.
It will be more fun getting together our own 'tailgate' parties, barbequing, downing a few and watching for free anyway.
You know, one thing that made (past tense) the Razorbacks unique was statewide support. Argue if you wish, but that is not universal as it used to be, and I see it becoming even less and less so.

That's pretty selfish of you. No, that's not very Razorback fan like of you. I'm sorry where The University of Arkansas is, isn't a viable option for you.
That really makes no sense to me. You admitted to spending almost $800/year on tickets in Little Rock. Near $1000/year when there were 3 games. I'm also sure you tailgates, which would add another $100 for each game. So, you are roughly sitting at $1000/year for two Little Rock games and about $1200/year when there were 3 games.
What this tells me, is that you're full of shite.
A) You really don't buy that many tickets and actually buy less. You can invest that $1200/year and have south outdoor club seats. Many more amenities than Little Rock. Options if the weather is bad, etc.
OR
B) you're just taking your ball and going home because you haven't gotten your way. Which, this is probably the case. If so, that's sad.
As a business owner and having a spending personality at times, I can see right through bullshite 95% of the time.
If I'm already spending $800 on something, to get a better product, I don't mind spending another $200. You're basically spending a grand anyway. Why let $200 stop you?
If $200 is the difference in a fan coming to Fayetteville, or going to a Little Rock game, that fan probably shouldn't be going to either location, honestly. That strikes me as a person who is irresponsible.
If a person is already spending $800-$1000/year on two games, then that person has no excuse, other than being arse hurt.

Winning and losing are probably the two most fundamental factors affecting ticket sales and attendance. All the games being in Fayetteville might have a small effect but not a lot.

Call it what you want, call a bunch of other folks selfish, but it is what it is.
But we're still Razorback fans. Just not spending any more money on them because it's just not feasible.
Surely there's plenty of folks in NWA to fill that stadium up. Start selling it out.

Yes, and it stretches some good folks and they make sacrifices to spend that $800-1000/year. At some point you have to say 'enough'. The extra gas, in a lot of cases overnight accomodations, extra meals on the road... it adds up.
I guess in a way, it's doing folks a favor - saving the $800-1000 per year.

I didn't go to one single game up there this year and only the first LR game, gave/sold all my tickets away. Not renewing until there is a better product to pay for. Using the money for better stuff.

This. I enjoy it once a year early in the season for the tailgating aspect against a shitbox noncom preferably. Im fine with always playing one in the Rock if it's an early noncon
