The answer has to be B, does it not?

Mostly Dooley, but kiffin put him in a tough spot thanks to fulmer and Hamilton

While I will always hold that biscuit munching Fulmer in highest contempt, you idiots fired the best coach you ever had to hire lane freakin kiffen. And then you wore alter-grey uniforms. You got what you deserve and look like shite doing it.

I've been following SEC football since 1970 & everytime I see the above season records mentioned in the same breath as the Univ. of Tenn. I'm shocked...Unbelievable...

The answer is A and B. A, for getting lazy and staying too long, and B for not telling A that he was getting lazy and staying too long.

im a senior. the last 4 years have been hell. I hope it ends but I really dont see any hope at this point. And the answer is B for me. Fulmer just got lazy. Kiffin did some damage that a good coach would have fixed, but Dooley was far from what we needed. He actually made it worse and instilled a losing attitude in the players. That's what has had the most negative impact on our program. It will take a whole new generation of players to turn this attitude around, so in my opinion I think you'll see us competing for the east in 3 years (hopefully 2 if Butch can manage some top 5 recruiting classes with some instant impact players). Hopefully By the 2016 season (the one with the Bristol game) we'll be in a position to make a run for the East...
Or everything could fall apart (again) and we become perennial cellar-dwellers competeting with Kentucky and Arkansas for the bottom of the SEC...
Could go either way

The current downward spiral started long before Vandy's current spike.
Vandy was still pretty Vandy-like from 08-10 and UT was horrendous then as well.

Hamilton is to blame. Maybe Fulmer was lazy...I don't know. But Tennessee would not be where they are right now if Fulmer was still there. The Kiffin/Dooley fiasco has set the Vols back years, and Butch Jones...who knows.

Colorado and Tennessee would love to have Nebraska's current level of success.
