Stop building big houses because the poor people can't. Not fair.

I wish we had that sort of money. Most of the houses at UVa could do with some refurbishment.

Can't wait to see the new Pi Kapp house once it is finished. They should be able to move into the new house in January last I heard.
Oh ya- checking in , pi Kapp 2006-2010

My uncle is the one heading that new house. You probably know him and his son, who just graduated.

We are the same age. I didn't attend all 4 of my years at Bama, though.

Is your uncle Warren DeBardelaben? I forgot his sons name off the top of my head, I wasn't really around the house my senior year so some of that fall '09 pledge class is forgetful to me

I'm not sure if you're a proud Alabama fan/Greek alumnus or if you're trolling Alabama. I guess either is believable.
Also, who the hell reads Foxnews.com?

I don't think anyone wonders that. Those outside the state know, and those inside the state either don't know or don't care.

Yep. I think that new house is going to be ready in January. Looks nice.
@HempHead, what's your initials? If you were around the EN house, I'm sure we know each other

No, he is actually right for once. Most reasonable people would not look on Alabama's Greek system positively if they had any knowledge of its past and present actions.

I'd really not rather say. I'm a paranoid frick and don't want anybody to figure out who I am over the interwebs. All I'll tell you is that I am one lanky bastard.

As much as any want to give. You know they have black frats and sororities with zero whites in them don't you?

Same here.
My sorority built a new house and my god, it's a monster.
Kind of makes me sad though. I liked our old house on First Circle.
But the size of the chapters dwarf when we were there.
In 1990, my pledge year, quota was 47 girls. This year quota was something like 112 girls!
Of course, enrollment was around 18,000 back then.
The University is so different now. I would bet 85% of the places we used to go back in the day don't exist any longer.
The day that "progress" finally pushes Gallette's off The Strip will be a sad day.
Posted on 11/19/13 at 6:02 pm to BamaChick
Gallette's needs to step up their game or they'll get lost in the shuffle. As it is now, all of the people I know still in TTown avoid it like the plague in favor of Innisfree, Moes, Rounders, and downtown.
