Do you realize how much gridlock and wasted time a good public transportation system would get rid of in LA? Driving around there sucks and it could be vastly improved.
LA used to have one of the best public transportation systems in the world until car and gas companies bought it up and dismantled it in an effort to kill competition.
same thing happened in many major cities actually.

The best public transportation system in the world will be in Texas if it ever gets approved. High speed rail from Dallas to Houston? Yes please.
