Great you beat teams in your own conference, what about Top 10 non conference games played in Mizzou Arena? Who did the Tigers go out of their way to schedule in Columbia?

Here's the deal with this thread.

Kentucky will either be as good as the OP with a hard on for scrimmages says or they will underachieve to the NIT again this year, but most likely somewhere in between.

Devin Booker will sign with either Mizzou or Kentucky, in whichever case there will be a shite storm of shite talk between certain posters in this thread.

Kentucky will make its first visit to Mizzou Arena this year. I will attend, will yell loud, and shite will happen.

Then some other shite will happen later on after that.

The freaking end.

Everybody happy?

Good.

The 2014 class? I don't think it's that bad. Not nearly as bad as 2012. It definitely doesn't come close to 2013, but it's not terrible... Just average.

Not what I have heard. I've heard it is very top heavy and does not have much depth at all.

78- 50 Mizzou beats #1 Kentucky (if you last that long as #1 which I don't expect to happen) Louisville will beat you, Baylor will beat you (again), and North Carolina will beat you

Umm....UCLA? Fairly historic program last time I checked. In fact some might say they've (gasp) won more titles than Kentucky.

Umm no. This team's worst case scenario is a sweet 16 loss.

Yeah....anything short of a Final Four would be a serious fail for a team with as much talent as Kentucky is going to have this season.

ETA: Is this your first time interacting with MS2? Keep arguing with him. It gets better.

An anomaly because he never played AAU basketball. I promise you everyone of Mizzou's players participated in AAU basketball.

So if you play AAU basketball, every ranking is accurate and translates into amazing college success. Obviously not.

Either way, if he goes to Mizzou…you have my props on getting him. He will be a nice addition to any team.

And yes, next years class is below average. Only 3-4 ELITE (one and done players)….then a major drop off.

And have been terrible after they made 2 straight final 4 runs a few years back.

That is like bragging about scheduling Kentucky when Billy Gillispie was the coach.

We had Alabama for our conference opener last year, don't remember much because I left at half time, but it was an arse beating

Mom went to Kentucky and lived there for like 12 years. Grew up a huge UK basketball fan. I still keep up with them even though my college degree will say University of Alabama on it.

Being a fan of the 2 doesn't really interfere with anything. Shockingly I know I am not the only one on here who does the same thing.

I think the difference - and the confidence my young friend here displays - is I don't think UK people really grasp the degree to which Mizzou adores the Booker family. It's not just a legacy pick, Devin's dad and Mizzou have a long love affair that stems way before his son even existed. Devin knows that and that's the reason he feels so much adoration every time he goes to CoMo and its making an impact. It's not just your usual legacy recruitment. Am trying to think of a good analogy because (compliment incoming) UK has so many amazing players, but say for sake of argument it was Jamal Mashburn's kid or one of the Unforgettables' kids or something. It would mean more to you than just the usual 5 star recruit you see every year, and UK fans would approach it that way. So has Mizzou, which is why UK needs to understand that, though not the #1 player in the country, Cal will probably have put in that much of a great effort in the Booker case, and you should not underscore how crushing a blow it will be to Mizzou if Cal does reel him in. It's something that will define the way these two programs interact moving forward in the new reality of being conference mates.
