On the South Carolina game... Other than last week's blowout of Arkansas, they've been playing tight games against a schedule at least as weak as the one Missouri's getting b-slapped over. Plus, it will be their 3rd consecutive road game. Not sure about college, but in the pros the winning percentage in that 3rd game goes way down.

Fair points. USC fans aren't sure if the lights came on for a young defense against Arkansas, or if Arky was just that bad in that particular game, or if it was a combination of both. I will say this, however: the UCF W was a quality win. UCF is a solid team, with plenty of talent.

As a Carolina fan, I'm extremely concerned about the Mizzou game, as they have the kind of offense that gives Carolina fits.

We'll know more about what kind of team USC really is when they get back from Knoxville Saturday night. If it's another multi-score blowout, I like USC's chances in CoMo. If it's a squeaker like what UGA endured, I don't like them at all.
