In that scenario would you try and talk down to someone for being a "yuppie" because they thought Europe was cool?
No. I'd probably nod politely....and thank them disingenuously...... and then think to myself in my head...."Does this yuppie wannabe tool really think I'm gonna go to Ireland now because he was there for 48 hours and liked driving on left side of the road and how 'green as shite' it is.??."
Thats probably what I'd do. But, this is the internet and you don't have to be polite or hold back here....... You can be more Honest.

I recommend a long weekend in Augusta. You can spend a whole day at the Fun Zone off I-20 riding the go carts and hobknobbing with carnies. Day two you can cross the river and tour the Gypsy District. Augusta and its people are a true slice of American Pie.

Where's The Spaniard? Surprised he hasn't popped in with some suggestions. He's the DR's Hemingway.

Go to Queenstown, New Zealand. Bungee from the first bungee site in the world-Kawarau river bridge. Take a jet boat ride on the shotover river. fish for big trout on the lake. Trust me....go to Queenstown, New Zealand.

Costa Rica is cool. Monkeys and shite. Puerto Rico is similar and easier.
For me and mine it would have to be tropical.
As far as the Ireland discussion goes, its a beautiful country filled with the nicest people in europe. If you do this trip you have to go to Scotland and Wales also. Does he golf? If so the oldest course in world is amazing to walk and take pictures. Cool experience.
Have fun and show me yer tits!

My wife and I honeymooned at the island of St. John in the Caribbean. You need to fly to St. Thomas, then catch a ferry over to the island.

Haven't read the entire thread, but has anyone mentioned Jetsetter on here.
You should check it out, Belle. Pretty amazing deals on there for places all over the world.

And most importantly Jefferson wouldn't think of you as a yuppie! That should be the most deciding factor here Belle.

You really should consider the Greek Islands for a 10 day trip. That, or a mediterranean cruise would be a great experience. Could definitely be a once in a lifetime trip.
