We actually move the ball very well. Before making statements, at least try and know the information first. Florida has scored on almost exactly fifty percent of their drives since Murphy. We've punted a total of four times, including zero vs Kentucky with Murphy. We've turned it over two times, one being a snap vs Tennessee. We've been 100 percent in the red zone. We've outgained every opponent by 100 yards we've played. We have the highest time of possession offense in the nation.
Show me where I mentioned UF. I was just making a general statement.

At work on phone can't quote. You said your offense continues to go three and out.
So you did mention florida....you were speaking to florida fans weren't you?

Wrong. I replied to the poster saying lsu fans think offense wins games over defense now.
I replied I don't think offense is more important than defense. But if your ( general) offense continues to go 3& out, even a great defense will get gassed.

That is what I posted. Didn't mention Florida at all.

Nice back track. And you don't have to insult people to make a point, makes me dismiss what you are saying.

I didn't back track anything. I made a general statement to a Florida fan saying I thought offense wins titles over defense.
I'm not the one that started the insults. Look to your gator boys for that. I also don't give a damn if you dismiss what I say.

Something folks have to remember here is we are talking a Cam vs. Muschamp battle here. We have first round talent piling up on our side of the ball as does Mushchamp on his D. But, in the end...Cam has seen it all folks! and he will be able to adjust, adjust, adjust to find ways to move the ball. I expect to see a very Muschamp on Sat

Didn't the SEC set It's whole winning foundation the last seven years on hard nosed, blue collared defense?

For a long time this was a good, non troll thread
Actually it was a shite thread until JayDeerTay84 said, "I still do not see how UF can stay in Man Coverage when we pass out of the power I." on page 3.
It took 3 pages for someone to point out that it's all a matter of what the UF D focuses on. If they want to shut down Hill and the running game, they can - but then they're susceptible to OBJ and Landry. They can double cover LSU's WRs, but then they are susceptible to Hill et al.
JayDeerTay84 was right when he said it was a matter of picking your poison. UGA decided to stop LSU's running game, and Mett passed for 372 yards and 3 TDs. Luckily for UGA they had the offense to keep up.
Does UF?

Florida won't use safety help on hargreaves side most likely to help the middle and run. We may put someone over top on purifoys man. Roberson would be able to play 1-1 and hold off the deep ball. I would like to see our safeties help the inside a lot more personally and of course spy the run. I trust our corners to keep lsus dynamic receivers honest enough to where we can let them go one on one and not provide help too often. Sure they will get catches, but we tackle well so It's all about keeping landry and Beckham in front of you.

This is exactly what I expect, and I think LSU will counter this with quick throws to the FB/TE forcing LSU to dink and dunk down the field giving UF more opportunities for stops and turnovers. This is where the real chess match will be...
...but, as another poster stated, the game will be decided on LSU's ability to stop UF's offense.

Bingo!!
Unlike the past 5 years, LSU has a real passing attack. One of the best in the country to be exact with Mett/OBJ/Landry.
UF sold out on the run last year and it worked b/c we couldn't pass our way our of a high school game.

I feel pretty safe saying that, if UF DOES sell out on the run, that Mett still won't match his numbers that he put up against UGA.
UF's secondary is better.

It is very much possible. Mett put up 290 on Bama last year and they have an outstanding D.
Don't sleep on Mett.
