And how are LSU fans feeling about that annual Florida match-up now?
Didn't Florida just beat Bama's permanent opponent.

Umm. Bit early for that, no?
Too early for a schedule ranking? LSU fans laugh at this. LSU fans have their schedule rankings out for 2014-2019 already.

Keep that site saved in your "favorites". Please give us a weekly update every Monday. Something tells me that killer matchup on TSIO is not going to give you the same schedule bump that LSU will receive by going between the hedges in Athens.

Just wait till you start playing the bottomfeeders of the East.

..and lost their starting QB in the process. Of course, that might be a good thing for LSU

It's for the first 4 weeks, and 1 of your 3 games was against a Top 10 team, of course its higher now. I hope you didnt think it meant for all of the season but you are an idiot, so you most probably did.

Per Sagarin, Bama's SOS is 10th, and LSU's is 78th.

I thought it was an automatic anchor if you started a schedule thread and were not an LSU fan.

As a matter of fact, Florida has beaten Bama's permanent opponent 9 straight times. Can we just call UT Vandy and Vandy something else. I don't want to have to re-learn the SEC hierarchy.

I try to avoid this tired old argument because I actually like good games, but UF's back up QB just went in dry on UT. Thankfully Oregon left them loose or there could have been major blood loss.
That's really all that needs to be said.

I don't care if UF is ranked #1 or last in the polls - I'm not going to change my opinion on the current scheduling format. Needs to be changed

Per Sagarin, there are no more games this season.

as of right now alabama's opponent record is 7-5
whereas LSU's opponent record is 6-8
i would say its pretty obvious bama has played better competition and LSU has played far inferior teams.

Massey, which is better than Sagarin IMO, has Alabama at #3 and LSU at #41 for SOS. But that is only games played to date. Massey also projects a full season SOS (called SSF on his site). Alabama is #25 for full season SOS, while LSU comes in at #6. Florida (not surprisingly) has the #1 SSF.
Other interesting full season SOS ranks:
Georgia #3
South Carolina #7
Oregon #8
Stanford #11
Texas A&M #14
Clemson #22
Florida State #26
Ohio State #60
Louisville #87
