Precisely.

Finebaum had this much right on his show today. The story leaked today was a shot across the bow at Mack Brown. His days are numbered and the people who leaked this wanted him to know that. If they still thought they had a real shot at Saban, I doubt they would have leaked anything about this to an AP reporter.

Saban isn't going to Texas but Mack Brown's days are most certainly numbered and he won't be back next year if Texas finds a suitable replacement.
