Y'all talking shite about the coaches but this team would have quit in the 2nd quarter and lost by 40 last year.

Disappointing game but with a little more discipline, less mistakes and -jake holland, this is a decent football team.

Mostly things that are fixable in a season, not years.

I'm not talking shite about coaches but I am talking shite about a few players that are consistently bad.

I agree that most of this stuff is fixable in a year, the problem is that we don't have the help in place now to really help next year. If we had signed Foster last year for him to learn the defense this year to wreak havoc next year, I would be hopeful. Williams coming in will be awesome but he will still be a freshman in the middle of a defense.

The upside to this year is that no matter who our quarterback is next year, they will have been in Auburn in the system for a year and should know the plays. I also don't see any of our backs leaving early and we lose no linemen or receivers. Essentially our entire offense will return next year and be together for a year.

Defense-wise, we lose a good bit of starters and two deep but that might not be a bad thing if we can bring in some good young guys and have some of the young guys step up.

Aside from the 1st quarter I don't feel that bad. We're headed in the right direction.
