Was this kid highly recruited out of high school? He is a fricking killer on the gridiron. I think he may be the best back in the FBS this year. Was just wondering if it was expected for him to one day become a beast in college while being recruited out of high school?

I wonder if Gurley would've been overshadowed by Crowell if Crowell wasn't such a TPOS.

Marshall was the higher rated back.

Marshall is legit as well. Gurley just seems to be on another level. Makes me feel better about the rating systems.

It's funny that most are laughing at this question as they have no clue about his recruiting process. Gurley was a damn 3 star entering his senior season. As some have said, Marshall was far and away the higher rated back.

Clemson and UGA were going for both and each were pushing much harder for Marshall. Gurley then blew-up his senior season, became a 5 star, got a chainsaw penis, and the rest is history.
