The biggest thing shitty about NWA is some of the people, who like to talk about how shitty everything outside of NWA is.
F 'em.
There are also "some" people outside of NWA who realize how ridiculous it is to keep having games that don't even get sold out at a shitty stadium 2 1/2 hours from the school's actual campus. And there are some who don't.
Look, I get where you are coming from. You are frustrated with the fact that there probably won't be Razorback games played at WMS much longer. I get that. A small group of people will have to drive an extra hour or two to go see the Hogs play their yearly rent-a-win. I get that as well.
However, IMO, you seem to be venting your frustration on the situation onto this "I'm from NW Arkansas so I am holier than thou" facade that you've concocted in your head. Don't get me wrong. There probably are some people from NW Arkansas that think it is the best place to live in Arkansas, and there would be a plethora of viable reasons that they could use as ammunition. There are also probably some people who live in Magnolia who think it is the best place to live in Arkansas. And Little Rock. And West Memphis (well, maybe like 2). So are they bad, evil people out to get everyone else because they love where they live? Of course not!
You might complain that it isn't fair that you have to drive alllll the way up to NW Arkansas to see a game, but I would argue that it is even MORE unfair to force students who PAY to go to school there to have to drive 2 1/2 hours from campus in order to see a game.

Hmm, I do think that mentality exists for some.
That said, my opinion on the actual subject at hand is I'm fine with moving them all to Fayetteville. If for no other reason than to end this convo once and for all.
Go hogs - can we all hug it out?

I don't know a lot of people from NWA who have a complex about the rest of Arkansas.
Honestly, most people around here I know don't go to lots of places in Arkansas outside of NWA. Its not a personal thing, its just that we have a metro here with just about everything you need. Little Rock isn't a shopping destination or anything for people living here. The Ozarks are right next door.
Apart from going duck hunting east of Little Rock, I haven't been through Little Rock in 7 years.
I've been to Dallas probably at least 15 times during the same time period, mainly because there are things to do and see there that I can't do here in NWA.
Its not personal, its just how it is. Why does that piss people off? I also don't go to Tulsa or OKC very often.
I hear people in NWA occasionally talk shite about Fort Smith, but its mostly kids who grew up in Fort Smith who moved here, joking about Fort Smith.
