For the life of me, I can't understand how Bama's confidence level in beating A&M this year has been off the charts.
Their fans act as if it will be a walk in the park. Maybe it was Bama winning the NC, but after getting beat at home by the Aggies, I wonder why they are so confident in winning on A&M's turf. I personally think it will be another down to the wire battle
I can only speak for myself, but I'm not at all confident that we'll beat A&M. I don't take a victory over any team for granted.
What I do know is that, either way, a lot of people are going to be really fricking disappointed that night, whether it be Alabama fans or... everyone who was pulling for A&M.
This board will become nearly unreadable either way.

A a realist, I see a pretty rough road ahead for Bama. A&M will be hard fought at College Station, LSU always provides a hell of a battle, and if we're lucky enough to get back to ATL, the SEC Championship will be unreal.
The team that might slip up on us could be Ole Miss. Although the score didn't show it last year, OM gave Bama one of the tougher tests all year. It's back in T-Town but it will be interesting to watch.
Bama fans trying to talk opponents up so this season will be halfway interesting. Bama rolls over everyone and wins the last BCS title as an undefeated champion.

It won't be pretty for me if Alabama gets lucky and pulls off the upset, that's for damn sure.

Neither do I. Neither do most fans of SEC schools who have been in the Conference more than a year. I know we could lose to UT, AU, OM, UT, ARK, etc. this year. That's the way it goes. AgTards have yet to learn that.

If by some miracle...

Barring some complete meltdown, H1n1, swine flu, HIV/AIDs, or rash of broken limbs, no Alabama cannot lose to those teams. Alabama wins them all this year in spectacular fashion.
Next year is a different story, but this year I don't see many games being close after the third quarter.

I don't think you know how Finebaum works.

Bama will lose a game and if they make it to SECCG they will definitely lose a game and the shift towards the east will start and the talking heads will start the pimping of either USC or UF from that point....the ESPN bunch are bandwagoners
and are like moths attracted to lights...they cant help themselves.

Bama loses to LSU at home.

Stop tuning in so the hack can get canned.

Saban's been chewing this bone for 300 days. If Alabama only wins one game this year, I'd put the house on the one in College Station.

Brilliant insight.
Bama rolls everyone on their schedule and nut drags the Bucks or whatever sacrificial lamb the BCS matches against them. Teams are going to be lobbying not to get invited to the Championship game to save themselves the embarrassment.
No one comes close to the Tide this year. Bama is going to break wills, bones and spirits this year. I'm talking PTSD-level arse kickings.

Alabama fans listen to him for 1 hour because they like what he says
I listened today for about 30 minutes. It was the first time I listened since he went to ESPN.
I assumed that since he was on ESPN, he would be more inclusive for all college football.
I heard a guy from New York, that had some good points but then he goes back to the usual goobers, foaming at the mouth because someone said something about Alabama they didn't like. Then another Alabamian pleads with F'baum not to allow Tammy on his show because he makes the state look stupid (his words..I did not say that), while he sounded like a male version of Tammy.
I switched to another sports talk radio station.
He's great for University of Alabama....not so much for anyone else.
Good luck to him, I am sure he will not miss me. Not sure why he had to move to Charlotte, to do an Alabama radio show.

they'll be a point in your life when you'll want those 30 minutes back. Do what most Auburn and Alabama fans with sense have been doing for years, not listening to Paul Finebaum.

even under saban bama manages to lose a game a year. i bet 50-50 chance they slip up vs. somebody.
with that and a potentially good sec E opponent, i'd say they are NOT a lock.

If Alabama beats TAMU in a couple weeks, you might well become the most quoted/bumped poster in the history of this board.
A reckoning is coming.
Fawxie, is vasoline easy to find in college station? That new walking boot that AJ is wearing might be a tight fit sticking up Johnny Manziel's arse in two weeks.
