Found this little gem earlier... via Bruce Feldmam of cbssports.com
"Clemson 38, Georgia 33: Two shaky defenses. Two experienced QBs. I'll go with the more talented quarterback (Tajh Boyd) playing in the more potent scheme and the home-field advantage."
Thoughts?

Eeh, nothing to get worked up over. If we're being honest, you could easily make a case that boyd is more "talented". But that doesn't really mean much. Matt Stafford was 10 times more talented than David Greene, but I know who I'd rather have in a big game.

Why do people think Clemson has the more potent offense? Thats simply not true. We have a equally good QB...a deeper receiver core, 100X the RB strength plus a super experienced Line and Tight end. I honestly don't see it. Now, our defense will be mediocre at best (Im guessing), but really the onyl advantage Clemsux has is its at home.

Based on my travels through the ole interweb this week ive found both murray and boyd match up fairly well statically minus murrays dictionary of records. I can see the perception of boyd being more "versatile" but murray can make a break for it as well. I just hope JJenkins can get enough pressure to fill boys facemask with grass and silence the pussycats

Because of what they did last year. Ellington, Hopkins, watkins, and boyd were all big time playmakers that made some highlight reel plays. Well, half of those playmakers are gone, but people still remember clemson's offense being dynamic.
Fortunately for us, we return all of our playmakers on offense except for one, but we realistically shouldn't hurt as a result of it too much.

It's easy to rack up stats against Wake Forest and Duke

All of this "Clemson potent offense" talk is nonsense. They only hung 26 on a wretched Auburn team in last seasons opener with Hopkins(gone) & Ellington(gone) carrying them.

isn't this supposed to be sammys "breakout year" after a great freshman year and a lackluster performance last season? 708yds 3 tds

We only scored 29 on Kentucky last year, and they're god awful. We beat them by 4 points.

for the record michael bennett scored more td's (4) last year than watkins (3), and he only played four games. Watkins is overrated in my book.

I've got a UGA/Clemson preview thread on the rant. If anyone would like me to add anything to it or Clemson would like to add anything about their team(I don't know much about them), I will edit it.

yes, and we all know that football is about one player. is there any other area that clemson surpasses georgia?
p.s. i'll take murray over boyd.
