Bama was lucky to win 3 out of the last 4 BCS Championship games. Just look at tPOS dogs they got to play in the Championship games. If they had played a really good team in any of those games they might not have won. Maybe this year Bama will have to play against a team that should have been there rather than teams like Texas, LSU and ND who showed they did not have the balls needed to take the Crystal.

Alabama couldn't get a bigger hurdle from a team every year like they do from LSU. Their schedule isn't as strong as a lot of SEC teams but idk why y'all pretend its Boise state caliber.

Bama didn't have any more of an argument than Michigan did in the previous scenario.
Bama had the SEC, Saban, and the networks.
The Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma St. game was a fricking infomercial for Bama. The entire game was played with a ticker on the bottom of the screen, pronouncing Alabama as number 2.
Every possible scenario for Oklahoma St. to capture the second spot went overwhelmingly in their favor, just as it did in '07 for LSU.
But, unfortunately for Oklahoma St. fans, their conference carries no clout, and their coach was more than happy to face anybody other than the SEC.
Alabama was the second best team at season's end, it was just a lose-lose for LSU. And I'd feel the same way for Alabama if the roles were reversed.

why do you always show up in these threads and whine about scheduling?
You don't have to be an LSU or Florida fan to see the unfairness of the permanent opponent rule.

It's not inconceivable, of course, but just in time for you to come post it in this thread?
How about this. You worry about LSU's embarrassing rednecks and we'll worry about Alabama's.
After all, is it hard to believe that, while driving through Louisiana just now, I was tiger baited by a toothless whore spilling out of her purple tube top as she stumbled out of a men's room at a rest area on I-10?

Your stock response doesn't answer the question.
Just stick to whatever LSU poster you usually post as. That way we know you are just a bitch, not a bitch hiding behind something.

Florida got in by a whisker -- just a hundredth of a point in the Bowl Championship Series Standings.
The Gators had a BCS average of .944, and the Wolverines were just behind at .934. The teams were tied in the computer ratings, but Florida had a 38-point lead in the Harris poll and a 26-point advantage in the coaches' poll.
The ironic thing is that my Buckeyes would have been better off getting a rematch with Michigan instead of Florida.

LSU is going to destroy the gumps on their own field. LSU's new offense will make what JFF did to ya'll look like a tune up game. Just you wait. This whole thread is stupid. Who the hell cares what ESPN does they are sports entertainment.

And to keep things fair for the other conferences, keep the SEC out altogether every other year or so?

The reason Bama got in was b/c they were the second best team at the time. You corndogs really believe that Okie was the 2nd best team? Of course you don't. You just wanted the easier route.
I imagine you also are hoping JFF won't play in the game against LSU, unlike the vast majority of Alabama fans who want him on the field 9/14.
Great teams with great long term winning tradition do not take the easy way out. When LSU fans realize that and take it to heart, you may be considered one of the elite. You don't see UT complaining about playing Bama every year, nor did Bama complain about playing them when they were at the top, nor do you see AU complaining about playing GA. Stop being such whiny asses. There is a reason we are the Big 4. DWI
