Cassanova McKinzy, four-star outside linebacker, class of 2012
As the No. 236 overall prospect in the 2012 class, Cassanova McKinzy made headlines on National Signing Day by revealing that Clemson’s lack of a Chick-fil-A was a major factor in his decision to choose Auburn over Dabo Swinney’s Tigers. Adding to the mystery of McKinzy’s capriciousness is the fact that Clemson actually does have a Chick-fil-A on campus. Despite the oversight, everything worked out pretty well for McKinzy. He saw the field in eight games as a freshman and was the Tigers’ second-leading tackler in 2014.
