What people are missing in this shot is how all the concrete inside the stadium is all the same color...



...because LSU spent $1.7 million resealing 3/4's of the stadium's concrete for this season. The south end zone was resealed 2 years ago just before construction started on the SEZ addition.

As you can see in this end, the upper decks look great as well, minus the shadows in the first pic...



Of course, it's hard to see the concrete in the original stands in the middle, due to all the chair back seats there.

Can't wait for the season opener!

One more thought, looking at this aerial photo of Tiger Stadium, let me draw your attention to the top of the south end zone addition...



...see all that standing room only space up there? LSU will be vying with TAMU for largest home crowds this year, even before Kyle Field gets downsized next season.

After this year, Tiger Stadium will routinely post the largest home game attendance figures. Especially for big games.
