I was in the Marine Corps as a twenty year old, and for a number years after that. The partying we did when we weren't working would make Johnny blush.

it isn't the partying, it is the whining about the spotlight, missing half of the manning camp and then getting thrown out, throwing little girl temper tantrums and being an all around bitch otf.

Chances are you learned about discipline and respect in the Marine Corps too, right? You were forced to to accept authority, responsibility, and you were held accountable for your actions. You received good, solid guidance. JM has a father that appears to be just a little more mature than JM, but not by much.
