The resistance to this idea alone should be a huge red flag.

The resistance to it is a huge red flag to me, but it red flags that we have a lot of posters on the board that are very close minded to new ideas.

The people arguing over this act like we are trying to have open invites to every other poster on the rant when that isn't the case. We are wanting to take a few people in that can contribute to discussions.

People arguing against this act like we, as Auburn fans, all agree on everything and there aren't different perspectives already on the board.

People arguing against this act like it can't be undone. If you feel that some of the new posters are flaming, just RA and let it be dealt with. If it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out.

People arguing against this probably don't realize that there are already other fan bases with people on the board. I wouldn't expect that any new posters that get access would make camp here and only post here. You may rarely see them here with the exception of a few relevant posts.

Gene wants to have more than 2-3 bama posters. His post on the help board.

The key is to get a few that everyone agrees on that are extremely popular/well known then slowly add "well he is a great poster too" and we can swing somewhere in the 8-10 poster range

I'm sorry. I don't want to click on an AU board, and have bama posters on here.
