I disagree with that.
They read what's posted on this board just as much (or maybe more) than the rest of us. Just because they don't add to the post count of threads doesn't mean they won't be affected by the decision.

Not really. Some people really enjoy coming here and reading the posts in the threads. Just because they don't have hefty posts counts doesn't disqualify them from having an opinion.

There are many different types of contributions however. I haven't seen anyone posting in this thread that doesn't show up in game threads or the like pretty regularly. The difference is many of us really don't have much to say during the rest of the year outside of asking questions here and there about recruiting and following what our recruiting oriented posters on the site have to say.
One does not have to post every vapid thought that comes into their head to be a part of the board, or be an insider. There are many levels, and the stuff you and Gene are suggesting would affect everyone equally, be it a lurker or a crazy high post guy like yourself.
