Are we recruiting Hale Hentges as a TE or DE?? I always hear TE but with our success with DE's maybe we need to recruit him with our biggest strength. And the helicopter.

I watch his film and I like him at DE much more. He kind of lumbers as a TE, but has a great motor on defense and a mean streak. Looks like a JJ Watt, Chris Long type on defense.

3* (4* on ESPN) WR from Texas Brandon Martin was offered by Mizzou today. Played in the Army game today, but on the broadcast they mentioned he might have qualifying issues.

The Louisville perspective
Sounds like LSU is putting on a push. Gonna bet the staff got to watch him a lot down there in Orlando.
247 article from LSU staff
quote:
The prospect that stole the show Monday for Team Armour was Dallas (Texas) Prime Prep three-star wide receiver Brandon Martin. The 6-foot-4, 205-pound prospect used his size to beat up smaller defensive backs all day. No one on the field attacked the ball while in the air better than Martin on this day.
Despite being a big receiver, Martin was able to stretch the field vertically, while also working well in the red zone too. He did have a couple easy drops on the day, so it was not all roses for Martin, but he backed those up with several tough grabs over the top of defensive backs.
The Louisville perspective

Brandon Martin – The 6-foot-4, 200-pound receiver from Dallas Prime Prep was a bit of an unknown coming into the game. He played at a small school in Louisiana before moving to Dallas as a senior. He was flat out dominant on Day One. Martin used his size to his advantage, not allowing receivers to jam him at the line. He is incredibly strong and was by far the most physical receiver. He presented problems on fade routes and deep balls as his height and strength allowed him to take the ball away from any of the smaller defensive backs. He did drop a couple of easy balls but he made up for those with spectacular highlight-reel grabs.
Sounds like LSU is putting on a push. Gonna bet the staff got to watch him a lot down there in Orlando.

Does anyone know an online link for the Army All American Bowl today? My cable is getting fixed and I really want to see how Lock does!

best bet is to maybe look on watch espn. I think on tv it's on espn2 or espnu or something so it might be on watch espn.

Meh. I was wrong. Games on NBC or something. Not sure about online then.

Went over to my buddies to watch the game, just in time for Lock's first pass
but good news is that none of the Quarterbacks look great

I really wish we had more than one committed prospect playing in the 2 big all star games. We are a good program but we need the masses to see it as well. The change in perception through media is big for our future as a program.

QBs tend to not look good in all star games. And yes media perception has an effect and I think we are atarting to see it with dline guys. The media loves what mizzou does with dline.

what was his deal? when he de-commited from us, was that a sign of us not counting on his qualifying and offering Strong/Williams? either way hope it works out for him, if he get's it together he could be a star for CMSU.
