I hope not. What about that 2010 team with this staff...

Auburn. No question. I doubt JFF would make it past the 1st quarter after one solid roughing the passer penalty by Fairley. 15 yards and JFF is gone.

JFF is shorter, drinks more, sleeps later, and gets more pussy.

2010 newton was superior to 2012 manziel. the jury is still out on the 2013 manziel

Statistically, A&M. The 2012 Aggies averaged more yards and points on offense and allowed fewer yards and fewer points on defense. Outside of Turnover margin, almost every stat falls A&M's way (many heavily so).

In reality though, given A&M's easier schedule, it would end up being a 52-45 type game with JFF and Cam turning crazy tricks on average/below average defenses until the clock ran out.

JFF would have shredded Auburns D. Game would be a shootout. Last possession wins. Neither team could stop each other.

Our defense was #1 in rushing defense in the SEC. You A&M fans don't realize that AU's defense that year wasn't that bad

The 14-0 season record stat of the 2010 Auburn War Eagle Plainsmen Tigers triumphs anything you're about to post, FWIW...

Good answer! Personally I think Cam finds a way to win, but I really like the comments here about knocking JFF out when he already faced Florida, LSU, and Alabama.

I'm flabbergasted.

Why do Texas A&M fans really believe this game would be close, or that they might even pull out the win? When Auburn won the national championship in 2010, that was the strongest the SEC West has EVER been. 2012 Texas A&M couldn't even beat teams like Florida and LSU, while struggling with Louisiana Tech. Auburn beat SEC East champions South Carolina twice, LSU, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi State's best team since forever, Sugar Bowl attendee Arkansas, the only Oregon team to ever make it to the national championship game, and everybody else on schedule.

AMM AU9893 already mentioned it too, but Auburn had the #1 rush defense in the SEC in 2010.

Halftime adjustments killed Manziel somewhat this year. If the same thing happens in that game, auburn wins by A LOT
