LSU fans are just like Ole Miss fans.
I think I'm uniquely qualified to pass this judgement.

All playing catch up to Bryant Denny but BDS will still be a funeral home.

I actually agree with you. I don't know if we will be able to fill 70,000 right away
When we first started talking expansion, several of our fans wanted 70+. Given our current average attendance, I thought that was the dumbest thing I had ever heard. 10,000 empty seats doesn't look good on TV or to recruits.

You have to take in for account the amount of visiting fans, which could range from anywhere between 2-7k. I think 64-65k would be a good starting place for us

Personally, I like Mizzou's the best. It's more open concept and doesn't box you in like a fish bowl . To me, leaving one side open is more calming.

Yeah but in terms of appearance I think a bowled in stadium looks better

We can fill 70,000 when we don't suck

Pounding your chest over a football stadium. What a sad vicarious life you lead.

Didn't we get up to like 63k almost against Bama in 09? 7k is a pretty big jump. If Freeze can really get us competing than I can see us filling 70k

70k is probably 5 years down the road.
I like the idea of planning ahead. There will be a large demand for tickets after 6 straight Egg Bowl wins and a couple of SEC championships.

Yeah, I guess if I'm comparing aerial views. Also, bowls hold noise better. I get it, I just don't like it. Hence why I prefer HD tv to sitting inside a stadium.

A&M's stadium will be very, very loud. Possibly the loudest in the country.
It is already considered one of the loudest in the country, but in its current design, A&M's stadium is atrocious from a sound retention perspective. The South Endzone is completely open, and the NW & NE sides are open as well. There is absolutely nothing to keep the sound in.
After the renovation, the entire stadium will be enclosed, and there are going to be awnings on the East & West stands. It may be unbearably loud.

In the meantime, doing something to that tired North endzone wouldn't hurt

I'm not concerned, just pointing to my preference of an open end.

Fixed it. Still, it looks pretty damn good

I just want AU to improve the look of the stadium. There's no need for us to expand, but we need to brink the outside, especially the endzones. Hopefully the AD will get that started soon, because it's needed

So I couldn't find the plans for ours but it's basically gonna be like this with an additional 80,000 seats upping our capacity to about 160,000. Should be pretty wild.
