Alabama helped make Johnny Football. If AJ had lead Alabama to a comeback after being down 20 points, then Johnny doesn't win the Heisman and there's far less hype.

You state that quarterbacks on Saban's teams are asked not to lose games. Exactly what did Johnny do in the LSU game? He lost the game.
