Chief's defensive adjustment against the aggies was to take out a DT and replace him with a safety (Eugene).
It was actually a three DL, two LB and six DB look.
As for LSU's losses at DE. What I remember reading after the game was aggies saying how their all american OTs controlled M&M. They were both ineffective.
I take that to mean they didn't contribute to the tigers victory. So, does it really matter who replaces them?
Don't sleep on Rasco and Hunter. They will post better numbers in '13 than what KeKe and Sonic Sam put up in '12.
