Get rid of Kent State or Furman an schedule another east opponent....as long as everyone does so of course.

The 9 game schedule is not a problem for Alabama and LSU.

It's a CONFERENCE problem.

Bowl monies.

The middle to bottom dwellers win 5 instead of 6 games, and now are not eligible to contribute to the pie.

There is no weight being given to fairness and equality. These guys don't give a shite about determining a TRUE champion, even less than the NCAA does.

You would think that when your conference has won the last 7 BCSNCG's, the least you could do is make that conference's schedule with only 14 teams as fair and equitable as possible.

Everyone understands that it is impossible with 120 teams and only 12 games. But, you have a chance to make sure that the most worthy teams from the strongest conference represent it, yet you pull this shite.

And this is why I have turned on my allegiance to this conference. frick the SEC. They got my last road trip dollar last year in Fayetteville. Cancelled 3 trips for this year, Athens, Starkville, and Tuscaloosa, where we've won 3 out of 4, and I missed the one we lost.

All this scheduling shite is one of the main reasons I was against expanding the conference in the first place.

12 is large but manageable, 14 is too many. 16 would be retarded. At that point the divisions would be 2 seperate conferences.

yeah, for the lower half of the SEC the 9th conference game is a bad thing. Not just for the loss of half a home game each year but also reducing your chances of making a bowl game (and getting the extra practices that help you build a program if you make a bowl), but because it beats up your fanbase when you can't even make it to a .500 record

I imagine that since the SEC has won the last 7 BCSNCG's and raked in wads of $$$ while kicking arse, that they'd want to keep this gravy train rollin along just like it is.
