Florida notches another SEC West Title for Alabama--Amazing how that works.

I think everyone is just mad because Alabama is no longer that cupcake door mat team that can be chalked up as an easy win. Alabama is kicking everyone's arse on a regular basis and doing it in the most brutal fashion possible. And ESPN is dickriding so much Alabama it's not even funny. 6 in a row for Auburn and 5 in a row for LSU finally came to an end. Karla's a bitch ain't it?

Alabama had a good run the past couple of years with the SEC bridge schedules and slightly superior talent levels, but those advantages are about to end after this year.
Bama will have to find a new starting QB in 2014, and by then Florida, TAM and LSU will take their turns winning the SEC along with Bama.
LSU, TAM, and Florida's recruiting programs and coaching staffs are the equal to Alabama's right now and for the foreseeable future.

Alabama had a new QB in 2011. Those other teams you mentioned were pretty good then, too.
I fully understand Alabama's run will end, however it just might not be as soon as you'd like.

While Alabama has won three BCS championships in the past four years, they have only won two SEC championships in the past decade--not exactly dynasty stats.

I think that is what is so aggravating about him, he trolls and is terrible at it and I mean 15 year old girl bad. He makes claims with no validity and then is in every thread knighting for LSU like some weird teenage girl begging for acceptance. It is quite eery. This has got to be a kid.

Is Alabama really a dynasty?? quote: Miami (from '83-'94) Bama ended Miami's in the 92 NC game.
Yes we did! I was there. No, I will not say we are a dynasty yet. Bama's current run started in '09. If we get through 2019 with at least 2 more titles, and played in at least four more Title games, then I will say we are a dynasty.
.
Unfortunately for Bama, playing and beating LSU with many non SEC fans was not a real title even though LSU that year was arguably, the best football team Bama could have played.
SECitist, is affecting many college fans. Where are the Nebraska's, Miami's, FSU's, Notre Dame's,(oh yea forget that one). The LSU's, Georgia's, A&M's, South Carolina's, Florida's are all better today than these past champions.
Maybe Ohio State or someone else will grow a pair and give the SEC some real competition.
Until then, whether it's Bama, A&M, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, or whoever, the dynasty's will come from the SEC.

So, there are no NBA, MLB, or NFL dynasties?

so far, what I see in this thread is a handful people putting forth real thought out opinions on it (including a few Bama fans), and a hoard of Bama fans telling everyone else how stupid they are...
Bottomline is that most people think that Alabama has a great chance of becoming a dynasty, and if you think 3 NCs in a short time span = a dynasty, that's fine too....but the problem still exists that Bama hasn't been much of a dynasty in the SEC
2/5 years as SEC Champs

The statement I quoted wasn't made about just college football. I could infer from the board that it is only about college football, but it's rather stupid to isolate that criterion to just college football when an argument could be made that going undefeated in the modern era is just as hard in college football as it is in professional sports, especially in a league like the SEC.
Or I could have just been nice and said that's the dumbest shite I've ever heard.

To be honest the SEC Championship is not the be all end all in Tuscaloosa. At Alabama our ambition is not to win the conference (that's Big10 shite), our ambition is to win the National Championship by whatever means possible. Winning the SEC just happens to be the easiest way in. If our run ended with 5 Nattys and 3 SEC titles, I really couldn't care less.
The best thing going on right now is... Alabama only has to finish top-4 now to play for the title. Now, it's even MORE possible to Bama to count a loss, not make to Atlanta and still win the title.

3/4 = dynasty. It's always been that way, regardless of sport. You wouldn't have started this thread if it was any other team besides Alabama.

There's a lot of dumb and butthurt in this thread.
I'm gonna leave this here cause I know it's been brought up about 2011:
Actually, most of it is Bama fans that want to be considered the best thing in the world and don't want to recognize the shortcomings of Bama's 4 year run now...
Hell, yall are even antagonizing Ohio State fans on here, and trying to bash everyone personally that has a difference in opinion...
