Nope. Just a team that has won 3 out of 4 with no sign of slowing down. That doesn't strike me as something one would refer to as a dynasty.

A moral victory for a dynasty? Hmm.

Just saying, in 5 years they've won 12, 14, 10, 12, and 13 games, with 3 championships. 61-7 is impressive. And like I said, the last 4 losses were 5 points or less.

They're hoping and praying something, anything derails this Saban train.

Hell, I've seen one fanbase hope that Bama/Saban gets a "Penn State" type scandal so that this current run will mercifully end.

I can honestly say, I never wished bad things on Nebraska or USC when they were trucking along. I did want the Miami run to end - and damned if a Bama team didn't stop that shite.

Bama ended Miami's in the 92 NC game.

Actually, I think their dynasty ended because of probation...they were still a dominant team up through '94, when they played for the National Championship vs. Nebraska

I'd love to hear how this isn't a dynasty

Don't put up those numbers - some folks can't stomach that shite.

Before you know it, some nutcase will bring up the refs/REC/suits/cars/wheelz/schedule/SEC office in B'ham/NCAA-Emmert/suits/carz/deer antlers/PED's/wheelz/REC............

Miami was #3 going into that game, they had to win and have Oregon upset #2 Penn State in the Rose.

Three out of four happens all the time. You need more than that to be a dynasty like Bowden's FSU teams.

well, for one, their dynasty hasn't carried over to the SEC, where they've lost at home a few times and only have 2 SEC titles...

How can you be a "National" dynasty, but not one in your own conference??

until they stop manipulating the league schedule, play some non cup-cake OOC games like the rest of the big boys, their titles will never be recognized as valid.

verdict: not a dynasty.

Yep. It really is sad how poorly UA has performed in-conference.

if you are going to refute their dynasty claims, what are your criteria for a dynasty?

Was it 2010 or 2011 where Bama had to play like 5 or 6 teams straight that were off the week before playing Bama?

great logic dude...who was #1? you don't think Miami would have been rewarded with at least a share of the title for beating #1??

That game was the de facto Title game. Penn State got nothing that year...(which was more pre-BCS title shenanigans)

Bama has the best conference record in that span, the most SECCG appearances, and the most SECC's. They're not even tied with anyone. So...
