We are not attacking you so much as mocking.

Life isn't fair. Kids usually pick up on this at a pretty young age.
Yet when SEC teams all put their bye weeks before they play Bama, Saban crys, "It's not FAIR!!!1!" and shite gets changed.
...just sayin'.

I'm sorry, too, because I don't trust you to tell the truth. It's not you, it's me. I have trust issues, especially with respect to anonymous people on the SECr. In my defense, I've been burned. So burned. I trusted the hundreds of LSU fans that said Saban wouldn't stay longer than three years in Tuscaloosa. I trusted LSU fans that said that Bama couldn't win in New Orleans and could never, ever beat LSU at the OTHER Death Valley at night. I trusted too much, too soon, and now you, an innocent, will suffer the consequences.

Keep it coming. You're sinking to new lows with each post. It's pretty amazing actually.

They didn't alter the schedule that season, are you saying that a good rule shouldn't have been adopted simply due to the fact that Alabama (I don't know why you keep acting like Saban visits the SEC office so much) is the one who brought it up?

Alabama was around the 6th or 7th best team in the nation last season. They'll be around that mark again this year. It's easy to load the schedule up with cup cakes, and then coach a team up for 1 or 2 big games. What they do is no different than what Boise State did during their heyday, the only difference is Alabama gets pushed over the top by the extreme media bias.

Well, sure. When someone as respected as Coach Nick Saban says that a situation isn't equitable, people in power tend to take it seriously. When LSU fans (and coach) whine about random stuff, nobody listens.
Pointing out serious flaws in the system isn't the same thing as whining. If you need help differentiating between the two, here's some help - what you're doing is whining and what Coach Saban did was point out flaws in the system. Flaws are corrected; whining is mocked.

No, he's saying its intellectually dishonest to say "stop whining" after the reaction that came from Saban all the way down the line when the show was on the other foot was arguably worse than this.

You have gone completely off the rails. If nothing else this thread has exposed a previously respected bama poster for the Alahunter clone he is.

Translation: avoid issue, shift to attack mode.
But why? Let me speak in general terms:
Is it because no one has an answer?
Is it because the issue has been hashed and rehashed to the point that no one takes it seriously anymore?
Is it because the questions are posed in a combative fashion, baiting those intended to answer them?
Is it some combination of the above?

LSU, obviously, because of OMG HARD SCHEDULE! Clemson, because they beat LSU. Georgia, because IF IF IF IF IF IF IF IF only. Texas, because of poor, injured Colt McCoy. OSU because of quality wins, not quality losses. Florida also beat LSU. Ohio State. Texas A&M, because if you beat a team, you're better than them for forever, except in the case of Bama beating LSU because of SEC office conspiracy scheduling. Notre Dame, because they were distracted by a fake girlfriend. How many is that? Anyway, I might be getting my years confused, but most of this post is true.

It's fun to watch DS criticize the validity of others' arguing techniques in one post, and then see him employ that very technique he was critiquing in the very next post.

The only reason I frequent this site are for threads like this. LSU fans crying in such a manner should be embarrassing for them.

Makes sense.

I'm not acting like anything, just stating facts.
I don't know why you keep acting like Alabama fans aren't worse whiners than LSU fans - I've seen TiderInsider and TideFans. If I were an Alabama fan, I'd shut up about how bad other fan bases are.

I think DS actually opened his participation in this thread with a 'rustled jimmies' comment, setting the tone and making bad faith a lot less of an assumption.
For the record, I really like DS as a poster.

Oh shite, you were being serious...?
So basically when Alabama fans and/or coach whines, it's called 'pointing out flaws' but when non-Alabama people whine it's called 'whining'. Awesome.
Actually, I still think that's funny...

Yeah, but I think their point is that when Saban whines, people listen - therefore it's not whining. And when Miles whines - well, let's be honest, no one can really figure out what Miles is saying most of the time, so it's hard to tell when he's actually whining.
