We would accept the facts that the LSU alum didn't make the schedule, the AD's did. Why you cant, is the great mystery of this thread.

Then plenty would start bitching although Saban would be the 1st.

It doesn't follow that all the AD's would have had to be in on it. I'm sure the relevant ADs were given some BS reason as to why this was the way to go. As for Alleva yeah you can make the case for gross negligence.

Right. There were two options. If the ADs were given BS reasons, then why wouldn't any of them speak up and say, "um, hey, this is BS?" Are you attempting to claim that you know more about SEC scheduling than the SEC ADs? I would say that such a claim would require extraordinary proof.

On the issue of the bama grad in the SEC, was he out sick the day they were making the 2010 schedule? Hes got so much control but he just let 6 teams take byes before playing alabama?

I wonder why that doesn't happen any more...?

"Let's just ignore 2010 when we had Florida and USC and it seemed like every team had a bye week before playing us. Yes that's old news and definitely not relevant."

Oh yeah thats the reason you dont have 4 NC's..... Cause that 1 year you actually had to play a couple of good teams...... ( I will give you the fact that Auburn bought themselves a freak of an athlete) Now who's crying?.........

Well what do they care if LSU gets screwed? A&M is the other team with something to lose but guess who the other team with the cushy schedule is?

how is my statement ? im not complaining about the schedule, im using that phenomenon to punch holes in the ridiculous notion that the schedule is being controlled exclusively by one bama grad.

First it's not Bama's fault that UT is down, if they weren't none of this would matter , just like if Auburn had been up the last 2 years no one would have said anything about UGA schedule...

The only thing that seems strange is, there is no rotation of teams this year, its just what schedule works best, and considering UT and Auburn are most likely re-building, you would think that they would have split BAMA/ TAMU WITH UGA / SCAR , since LSU & UF play already ... just seems fair.

Do you not think that is a good rule? Or was Alabama the only team with the possibility of 6 teams scheduling bye weeks before they played them.

And oh, by the way, Alabama has no one currently on the SEC Executive Committee, but guess who the chair of that committee is.

Also at all the whiners who can't grasp the concept that every person working in the office in Birmingham is employed by the 14 presidents, who have the power to make whatever changes they want.

so bridge schedule is your excuse? but bridge schedule is also your complaint, namely that the rotation got messed up (intentionally in your mind) to favor bama over LSU.

also, you did not really address the Kentucky point i raised.

Really? USC didn't have anything to lose? Florida?

Your entire argument rests on the notion that you know more about how the SEC schedules should/do work than the AD at your school. If that is the case (Spoiler alert: it isn't), then your AD (and the USC and Florida ADs) should be fired and laughed out of college athletics.

If it had been bama or Mississippi state sure but Alabama and LSU are both power teams.

And if you keep spewing your conspiracy theories they will become true as well.

I'm still waiting for someone with a couple of brain cells to rub together to explain what a guy who had twenty plus years as the MIss. State AD would gain from a conspiracy like this. Ole Miss gets Missouri at home while the grinders have to go to USCe.

LSU has bye weeks before Bama and A&M

The difference, however, is that A&M also has a bye week before LSU. They do not have one before Alabama, unless you consider the #2 team in FCS (Sam Houston State) a bye.

ND being better than Bama was never the argument. The argument was Bama has just as easy if not easier schedule than ND. Man can you cousin freakers not grasp concepts? All y'all see is "One these peoples talkin' shite bout my Bamer foozball? Aw hell no we Bama and we the best."

I can think of a few ways to strengthen Bama's schedule. Get Ole Miss's sorry arse off the schedule. Mississippi State too. Do either of those schools ever plan to field a competent football team? What seems to be y'all's major malfunction when it comes to winning football?
