Double digit losses by A&M, in reverse chronological order:

2012: none
2011: at Oklahoma
2010: LSU (Cotton Bowl), Missouri
2009: Georgia (Independence Bowl), Texas, at Oklahoma, at Kansas State, Arkansas
2008: at Texas, at Baylor, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Kansas State, at Oklahoma State, Miami

There are no players or coaches on the 2013 squad who were on the team during the 2007 season.

So, you know nothing about football?

Cooper wasn't even used much until the Ole Miss game.

He basically missed the LSU game, but he tried (stupidity/bravery) to play, couldn't do anything, left the game.

Had more YARDS PER CATCH.

More than TWICE as many TDs.

Caught a game winning pass in the SEC Championship game.

As a matter of fact, all of Cooper's TDs, unless I'm wrong on this one, came in either SEC play or the National Title game.

ohnny had more yards than Aj passin

So? Yards are NOT the be all end all of a good QB. Efficiency is much more important. AJ had a TEN to ONE TD:INT ratio, won the SEC Title, AND the National Title.

and more than yeldon rushing.

Don't compare a QB's rushing to a RB's.

Oh wow, the Big XII up until this past season. 2012 is the only season that's actually impressive.

Literally the day he announced his return, Sumlin said we'd move him to LT.

Sumlin promised him LT if he would come back - which will turn out to be a mistake I think (could be wrong).

The most important stat for a QB is that extra game.

Why? Are you just trolling them or being serious? Why do you think it's a mistake, he was getting first round grades to play LT in the NFL before he decided to return.

I still don't see Manziel making it through an entire career without injury the way he is used.

You're doing all the heavy lifting, I am just bringing in the boxes of linens.

ETA - meant this for your previous post, not the one asking about Matthews. I just don't think Matthews is a LT but Sumlin didn't want to lose him (he would have been drafted first round but not to play LT).

He can practice it on Logan Thomas

Logan Thomas can't do what Manziel can do. Logan Thomas is a really crappy version of Cam Newton, who runs over people more than around them and isn't accurate at all.

Seriously, let's look at Logan Thomas' stats:

220-429-16, 18 TD, 2976 yards (51.3% completion)
174 carries for 524 yards and 9 TD (3.01 ypc)

This is from his JUNIOR year.

Exactly why I said practice.

No one can do what JFF can do, so you gotta practice it on somebody.

Logan Thomas doesn't even have a similar style of play to Johnny Manziel

Watch some of the Manziel highlights again...he spends most of his time in the pocket "trolling" the front seven, baiting them to make a mistake so he can exploit it. Most of his scrambling comes after a defensive lineman blows his assignment and thinks he has a sack.

God forbid you disagree with an Aggie, that's called trolling these days

A qb carrying the ball 200+ times is just plain scary.

But who else can at least some what simulate dealing with a mobile QB, and their team would actually play us? ND? Golson sucks and probably still has nightmares of Miami. Mariota? Oregon wouldn't play us on a neutral field, der scuuuurrrred.

Is it perhaps Jon Wallace, Auburn's star QB?

You've also never seen him take a hard hit. Not one.

That kid evades blows even when he's tackled. I've never seen anything like it.

I am so glad that we didn't take that game. Seriously, an OOC of Bama, at Virginia and Tenn. No thank you.
