Plus he was in position most of the time last year. He's more comfortable now and can find the ball better.

Didnt read this entire thread, how did Kenny Bell look today? I'm surprised he's back so soon, after breaking his leg so late in the season.

He was okay, considering the offense was where an offense usually is in the spring. He was moving around pretty well though.

John Zenor ?@jzenor 3h AJ McCarron hits Kenny Bell for 23-yarder and 40-yard TD on opening drive of Alabama's spring game. I'd say Bell's healthy again.

He's healthy, but if he keeps holding the ball like in that picture Trent Richardson's brain is gonna bleed.

Chris Black wasn't some amazing freak like the internet has made him out to be. Then again it was a practice so I'll give him a pass. Hope he lives up to the hype.

Safety is a position of strength on the defense. Big time players at that position.

Receivers are best in SEC/Country.

Big drop-off behind AJ. Sims has regressed.

Yeldon better than last year. RB will be a strength.

O line looks solid.

Blue will be All SEC corner ...maybe.

Sloppy boring game. Just like last few years.

The defense didn't look very impressive, but Saban always has a good defense so I'm not too worried. Nose guard needs to step up. Denzel Devall is gonna be a beast. He and Collins are gonna make Louisiana folks proud.

Yep and most people figured this to be the weakness.

Yeah Sims is horrible. Dude hasn't made a decent throw since he stepped on campus. Alec Morris is the obvious #2.

I thought it looked pretty damn good. The linebackers did get beat to the edges a couple times, but the secondary had things on lock down. You can never tell a hell of a whole lot from scrimmages. In 2011 Phillip Sims looked much better than AJ during the spring and fall camps, but when it came game time there was no doubt who the better qb was.

Bama usually has some attrition after A day game. Any thoughts on whether folks will transfer due to lack of PT

To be fair, Tana was playing, not DePriest when it comes to LBs getting beat to the edge.

Damnit are the stats out yet? I wanna see Mosley and the WRs stats.

Nick Perry is a fricking monster. Watching the game right now. Making plays all over the field.

Perry and Collins were pretty impressive, Sunseri played A LOT BETTER as a zone read star corner role, wasn't surprised to see Geno as a slot DB but I was surprised to see Cy Jones catching on at DB as quickly as he did. The corners got a whole lotta help on weak side from HaHa he is easily the best starting S in the country right now should have a ridiculous year

All in all a very impressive showing in a group that was thought to be the weakest on the team

Gotta watch the film back still but I have a feeling a couple guys have really stepped it up to earn PT this year and that pushed guys ahead of them
