Can anybody tell me about Blake Anderson?
North Carolina's Offensive Coordinator/Recruiting Coordinator.
Followed Fedora from Southern Miss, after performing very well there. Led the Tarheels to one of the best all around offenses in the nation this year. Followed it up with the 21st ranked recruiting class in the nation.
Reportedly turned down the Head Coaching job at Southern Miss, after this season.

Not a response to you in specific but a response to the whole thread. Gary Pinkel will be gone at either the end of this season or in 2015, no matter what happens. Some of the big money donors have wanted him gone for awhile and will likely get their way if he wins 5 games or less again this season.
I like the list of options you have laid out and I'm thinking we will be willing to pay close to $4 mil a season so a lot of these guys could be legitimate options

Out of that list give me:
Head Coaches
Chad Morris (Clemson OC)
Offensive Coordinators
Blake Anderson (North Carolina OC)
Defensive Coordinators
D.J. Durkin (Florida LB Coach/R.C.)

Bobby Petrino would be a great choice if you like hearing the phrase "Diamond in the Rough" and knowing your best instate talent wants nothing to do with the home state University.
Petrino really wants to be a head coach, but he's not made for it. If Missouri (or any other big-time program) wanted to turn some heads, they'd bring him in as an offensive coordinator. It's a high risk move, but having a well-respected head coach reign him in might be high reward, and would do good for Petrino's long-term public rehabilitation. Of course, his ego may be too big to take anything less than a head coaching position.

Just realized that, I like both but not sure if they would fit in the SEC. I would just hire Petrino and deal with the bullshite, It's not like he's the only douchebag coaching in the conference.
