Bars in Tuscaloosa

What bars should I go to, which ones should I avoid? Last time I was there, well I don't remember too much.
We'll have a few under 21 year olds in the group so bars that allow 18 years olds would be nice.
TIA.

TIA.

Do you plan on contributing to a minor?

They can join but they can't drink.

all the 18 and up bars suck. You're going to have much more fun if you just go 21 and older.
with that said.
The Strip has Houndstooth, Red Shed, Gallettes, all 21 and up and all good given the night. (fake ID should be ok at Red Shed and Gspot not so much Tooth)
Crimson Tavern has good drink specials and is a good place to start off.
As for 18 I'd stick to rounders, but it isn't very fun.
Innisfree is between the strip and downtown and is probably the best bar in town. Them along with Moes, and the Booth make up the best bars, with BY FAR the best talent. All within walking distance of both the Strip and Downtown
Downtown bars are gonna be the older crowd. I don't venture there often so ask someone else.
You'll get a feel for most bars just by standing outside them. If you're getting the weird vibe than just move on

Honestly, the Strip bars are getting shitty. Downtown looks to be a lot more busy.
Just avoid Bo's.
Innisfree and Moe's are the best bars right now, IMO

The Strip is always dead in the spring. The three in between are gonna have the best crowd, but also will have the priciest drinks. Worth it though.

I haven't been to the Booth yet, but I hear it's all Old Row so I'll just continue to avoid it.
I really like the Alcove. Much more low-key, and a lot better beers/atmosphere.

The booth is very old row. Alcove is great when you wanna drink different beers, not really a place to get smashed at.
No problem have fun in Ttown

If there are under 21 people, I recommend:
Rounders
Filling Station
Innisfree (get there before 9pm)

Downtown:
Alcove is cool, Wilhagens is more of a restaurant but your under crew can stay till 10:00, 4th and 23rd sucks balls but your unders can get in there too (no cover if you get a wrist band by 10 I think). Copper Top is alright don't think they allow unders, Speak Easy is really laid back, I'd highly recommend Kennedy's it's a unique place in Timmerson Square.
Like the others said Innisfree is good, The Houndstooth is my usual hangout, bear trap also good when it warms up.

Innisfree - they can get in before 9?
Posted on 4/4/13 at 8:43 am to Old Money
Yes they serve food too. Pretty good. Pitchers are decently priced

I fricking hated the station when ever I went to a date party there. They were strict as frick in my younger years

Yeah, frick the Station. They were dicks for one of my date parties too.
And to the OP:
Innisfree is a sports bar, basically. After 9 it starts being a bar, and that is usually when they start carding. If you're there before 9, you could possibly get the youngins drinks.

No cover is a lot better than paying 5 10 or 20 some nights.
They really just don't have anything going for them in the spring. There are better bars but the gspot can be fun. Like whine weds
