Do you realize how many future MLB super stars are playing weekend SEC series? I can honestly say I have heckled a few that are playing in the majors today. Also, it is our "happy hour" or cocktail party on the Party Deck, it is fun.

It is the SEC culture, you want to dominate everything in every sport. It is part of the game.

Either compete with the Jimmies and Joe's, or your athletic program will be left in the dust.

Is this why your football program is in the dust?

We've had our share recently. The problem with baseball is that you don't know who the superstars are until you're looking in hindsight.

We could get the happy hour/party deck thing going, and I think it would help. The campus is pretty tough on the alcohol front, though. I'm pretty sure it's a result of being so close to Anheuser Busch, but I digress.

We'll get up there. I just don't see a whole ton of people driving in from KC or STL for college baseball when there's better alternatives.

Getting the students out we could certainly do a better job of.
