And? Don't act like OM doesn't return just as much on offense. It's going to be a good game either way but don't act like you're more talented its not true.
So the Runts get one decent recruiting class in a decade an now all of a sudden they closed the talent gap on LSU?
It's gonna be a loooong offseason.

I was just replying to what that ole miss fan said about their defense. Because you do know it's LSU's offense that will go against that sack monster ole miss defense. Right?
As for the LSU "D" I have all the CONFIDENCE in the world in CHIEF. Nuff said.
OK. ole miss has just as much talent across the board as LSU. You happy now?
Just as much talent, home game and better coach. There will be no excuses for the rebs when LSU mops the field with them.

At the very least they're equals. They've lost a ton of defensive talent. OM returns most of theirs. ON PAPER they're a wash. On offense they both return most of their talent. Was LSU's offense better than OM's? It's not that much of a stretch.

Let's see now.
LSU @ bama in '11 - tigers win
LSU @ bama in '09 - tigers have fourth quarter lead on future BCSNC team.
LSU @ bama in '07 - tigers win
LSU @ bama in '05 - tigers win
LSU @ bama in '03 - tigers win
LSU @ UGA in '09 - tigers win (that's the last time we played between the hedges)
Are you picking up on that trend?
As for the LSU home games VS a&m and UF. Tigers don't lose many in tiger stadium.
Hopefully we get the aggies at night. If the networks are smart one of them will make sure that happens. It will be insane in BR that saturday.
Gators lost just as much if not more starters/lettermen as LSU.
Ole Miss is Ole Miss. rebs will put up a FIGHT but, in the end tigers prevail.
How long have you followed the tigers closely? If you think the talent on the '08 "D" was remotely equal to what's in BR now you honestly don't have a clue. Hell if that '08 defense had Chief as it's DC the PPG yielded would have gone down at least 7-10 points.

Like I said earlier. Against the ole miss defense that returns almost all it's talent the LSU offense had it's MOST PRODUCTIVE SEC GAME of the season. Tigers return all most all of the KEY PLAYERS on offense.
LSU "D" took a hit no doubt but they return at least a dozen or so players that saw action in every game. Score and time on the clock didn't matter. Very solid nucleus for Chief to start with.

Out best defensive player didn't play the LSU game. You'll find out what kind of difference he makes.
Posted on 3/6/13 at 10:44 pm to DMagic
Was he scared or something??? Maybe he'll be scared again???
Posted on 3/6/13 at 10:46 pm to 167back

no they arent
You're trying to compare almost a decade of top 10 recruiting classes to what like 3 from ole miss?
Yes, LSU is more talented than ole miss. Deal with it.

So you have nothing in response to the rest of my post? Show me the talent then. Y'all lost six of your top tacklers. It's not difficult.
