I was a student from '99-'03. I really was expecting a refund from the University. It was horrible. We never had a quality win at Bryant Denny my sophomore - senior year.

Yes, at Alabama, you're guaranteed at least three bowl games and a conference title, or you get your tuition back.

After all, why do you think people go to college?

Most of them can't appreciate maintaining a healthy weight or the value of a decent job so I doubt it.

Does the above post imply that people from Louisiana tend to be healthy and employed?

This made me curious. According to a quick Google search, Alabama has an obesity percentage of 28.5, and Louisiana 27.5. Alabama has an unemployment rate of 7.1, and Louisiana 5.5.

Congratulations.

But seriously, yes we do. What Alabama is doing right now is almost unheard of

It's more impressive imo. Nebraska didn't have to play Penn St in 94 and lucked out with a share of the title in 97 because Osborne was retiring.

what? winning titles never gets boring.

Boring is not the right word. You're always obviously very happy and excited to win an NC. But I'm talking about that elation that has you walking on clouds for awhile. That definitely dissipated for me with those later titles in the 5 in 10 run for LSU baseball.

But for those of us who hung in there during the Mike Dubose years, I'm sure we appreciate what's happening more than the younger folks. That shite was PAINFUL.

Yeah, the first memory I have of Alabama football is the 1993 Sugar Bowl, and it kind of went downhill from there until Saban showed up. Definitely worth the wait.

Right now? I have been lucky enough to have seen quite a few runs. They are all special and never get old.

Well it's true. They didn't have to beat the #2 team in 94 and the Coaches flipped them with Michigan after Osborne's retirement announcement in 97.

For the rest of us, 2011 was better than this last one or 2009. That one brought us teabagging and 50 yard lines - dafuq has 2009 or this last one brought us?
