Well I don't know if they know anything, but two of Carters teammates are predicting him to Florida.
One of them, UT commit Kevin Mouhon, said he believes Carter has a top 3 of Florida, Georgia, and Florida State. That's in order according to him. Said he expects Carter to play in the state of Florida.
Perhaps this is the reason for the jump in interest on Rashaan Evans.

I could see him going to either UF or UGA, he's more comfortable with UGA but likes UF a little better, seems like a push for him to stay in state has worked for the moment to get his mind off Bama 
That being said I always say take the in-state kid & Evans is much more of a developmental player than Zo is, he is much more Johnathan Allen (or even Donta Hightower pre knee injury) than Adrian Hubbard to me
I know this year's class has the feel on D of staff trying to recruit athletes to compete against future HUNH offense & the nod for that might go to R. Evans
