None of these classes can be determined "great" until a few years down the road. Right now you're going on what is hope for how a player may turn out, I prefer results. As we've seen with so many classes maybe 75% stay at the school and then maybe half of that turn into starters with half turning into what we hoped.

This.

I remember when bama fans were stoked to get Ty Love out of Hoover(?).

Did he even play a snap?

You must not have seen what Williams got away with against A&M on Vinnie's interception

Now this I can fap to:

@CharlesGPower: #Bama signees Miller (24), Evans (17.5) Hand (16), Pettway (11.5) combined for 69 sacks in 2013. LINK

This is what I would say too, if it's all I had to say.

You sign all the 3*s and we'll take our chances with the 5*s. Deal?

A Tuscaloosa kid, Torrence Brown, signed with Penn State. That's just odd to me. Even with James Franklin's recruiting ties down here.

And yet the '08 class as a whole lived up to the hype. Sure there will be some busts in the '14 class, but there is plenty of reason to believe that it too will be a great class
