If you're that emotionally invested in an event of which you have no control, perhaps you need a break.

Sounds like we're out of the running for Joe Mixon. With Fournette penciled in with LSU, I'd like to think we'll hold on to Scarbrough.

I saw Scarbrough play at Northridge. He isn't getting the love he deserves.

I agree, I watched his senior tape recently, he is incredibly dynamic IMO

My concern with Bo is durability

We will hold on to him

I'm not sure if all LSU posters feel this way but this gem comes from the SEC Rb courtesy of BigEdLSU:

I agree. I hate to think we lost out on Thomas and Mixon by going so hard after Fournette, but a combination of Bo and Henry with Cam at LT should be good enough for a few yards per carry.

I've said it all along that we should've cut bait with the LF chase and focus on Roc. I know LF is the top player but it was always an uphill battle. I don't care how many times Bucc claimed to say it was "closer than LSU wants to admit." Roc was a guy in our backyard that we threw to the side and simply didn't give an effort to go after.

I'm not saying Roc would've chosen us in the end, especially with AU's success at running the ball this year. However, with Bo's durability concerns it would've been sweet to land the homegrown player that has elite potential.

ETA: I'll gladly eat crow if our staff pulls LF, but at this point I don't see it happening

Don't forget though that we still have a crap ton of running backs on our roster. It is the one position where we can afford to strike out:

Yeldon- probably leaves after 2014
And the rest will be back:
Drake
Henry
Tennpenny
Jones
Kamara

Don't look now, but we just got our first LF to Bama crystal ball prediction after his visit. Should be good for some entertainment

Henry was an absolute beast every time he went in. Didn't he average like 10ypc this season? All the 'Henry will be a lb' have been silenced.

My biggest question is if CNS didnt trust Drake when Yeldon was getting tired, why not put Henry in there?

I think it was silenced when he pulled away from the Arkansas secondary without hitting top gear.

Henry was criminally underused. I know he had issues with pass protection, but it was becoming obvious in the iron bowl that we weren't going to pass on those last short downs.

Henry put on his twitter the other day something to the effect of one more game and then the offseason. Can't wait to outwork everyone. I love his attitude. Hope he gets more playing time next year.
