Hell we only pass rush on 3rd down majority of the times. Saw a interview where a recruit said if he came to Bama he would play the run the first 2 plays and rush the passser on the 3rd. Hell if it aint broke dont fix it IMO. We will be ok. Just imagine if we let Hubbard blitz every play.

I am not sure who this troll is but he adds some humor to the site I guess but it would help liberty if he had facts to support his argument.
Liberty since you seem to be all knowing in following recruiting please provide a link or just one little quote from Robert Nkemdichee where UA ever lead. You will not be able to because the only people that ever said he was lock were posters that speculated because of things like his coach or whatever. Yes maybe offering his brother who we are still not sure if he actually qualified legally may have helped but RN was never a lock and neither was Clowney.

Yeah, we wouldn't have just finished 1st in most major defensive categories, we would have finished in Super Double Secret Probation 1st.

I take it you do not know a great deal about defensive football? I have heard it is better to let people think you have no clue what you are talking about than to open your mouth (or in this case push enter) and remove all doubt.
Our Defense is designed to set the LB's up to make the tackles. It is designed for the down linemen to screw up the line of scrimmage/blocking system and it requires that each man do his specific job for the unit as a whole to be successful. You turn one person loose to rush the passer every play and the offense will eat the holes left all day.
Pass rush specialists typically want to play in a system designed to make them a star. Them being a star is often more important to them than the success of the team as a whole. Saban (and company) look first and foremost for players that can and want to do the task given to them in order to make the team complete. I for one like the results.
