i'll go ahead and give my opinion of this crystal ball thing on 247 (granted no one cares)... it's retarded. These guys are going to be constantly changing their predictions up until the day of the announcement, then take credit for 99% accuracy... it's going to be bullsh*t.

I like the feature. The recruiting analysts have always predicted where a recruit will go right before he commits, but now they keep it all in one place. You don't have to search Twitter or different articles to find the actual predictions.

Agreed, sort of. It's a cool feature to have for guys that are going to be announcing soon. Those that aren't committing until January or February though? That's completely pointless.

The reality is info changes a lot in recruiting so the latter picks are worth keeping an eye on. So far the latest crystal ball picks before a player commits since the crystal ball started has been spot on. I don't care if they change picks a million times. It's the last picks that count in my mind.

You have to feel pretty good about us picking up Tre right now. That said, his recruitment will be far from over. Saban won't be particularly thrilled if we pick up a commitment from the state's top linebacker.

we still gotta put a solid product on the field come Fall.... but with that said, you'd be hard pressed to bet against AU and Craig in the Mobile area right now... with Pruitt leaving for FSU, and us hiring DC, we've got the upper hand at the moment.
