Hopefully this is good on the Tre Williams front having a teammate in his ear

Interesting. He doesn't have quite the height most like, even for a center. That said, he's the same height as Ryan Pugh, who was a hell of a college center. I'm sure there are plenty of examples other than him, but it's late and my brain is fried.

I'd like to see us get a defensive recruit or two on board soon. I know we will get ours, but it'll make me feel better.

Watch his highlights he is plenty big enough in pads looks more like 6'2 in fact some sights have him listed at 6'2.

Pugh and Ben Nowland were all secand arent bigger than 6 2

He may grow an inch in the next year. Most people don't stop at 16-17

I meant that it was interesting that he would be a top two center in the country at 6'1. I have no doubt that someone that height can be successful at any of the interior line positions with the right build.

we recruited Rodgers for center last year (signed with USCw) and he was in the 6-1/6-2 range.

Most centers are shorter than the average lineman

FWIW this from KK

@kkolumbo 36m I've said it for weeks, I truly do not care whether AU gets SD Hamilton in a few weeks. He is a Sam LB and AU only has Mike and Will.

If this staff is recruiting him, then I would think they see a use for him

Wtf, SDH could play either mike or will.. a high school linebacker his size isn't stuck with one or the other.

3* TE Chris Laye

Picked up an Auburn offer today when he attended this morning's practice.
Lead recruiter is Scott Fountain.
I would link his Hudl but he has his highlights private.

Yeah, I don't usually disagree with KK (he's pretty solid with all things Auburn athletics), but I do right now... Ellis Johnson, and company, could find a place for Shaun Dion Hamilton to be successful at. He's a run stopper and reminds me of Reuben Foster in the way he makes plays in the backfield, blitzes, and disrupts plays.

Im pretty much always in agreement with KK, but this time...uhhhh No!!! SDH has more talent than ANY LB we've signed in several years. We need him to sign on the dotted line in Feb....Along with one of either Tre Williams or Kevin Mouhon...
