Most stadiums are bigger than the Vaught......so some truth to that.

Sad thing is, any other Ole Miss team would have dropped one to those 7 cupcakes.
I am hopeful Freeze will win the games he is supposed to and compete in the others.
Hope & Ole Miss football... that scares the shite outta me

I wasn't flaming...just the only example that was coming to mind was the road win against LSU a few years back.

Oh, here's a bit of history on Texas' nonconference games vs. BCS conference schools since the BCS began:
2012 Ole Miss - blowout win in Oxford
2011 UCLA - blowout win in Westwood
2010 UCLA - blown out in Austin
2008 Arkansas - blowout win in Austin
2006 Ohio State - 17 point loss in Austin
2005 Ohio State - 3 point win in Columbus
2004 Arkansas - 2 point win in Fayetteville
2003 Arkansas - 10 point loss in Austin
2002 North Carolina - blowout win in Chapel Hill
2001 North Carolina - blowout win in Austin
2000 Stanford - 3 point loss at the farm
1999 Rutgers - 17 point win in Pascattaway
1999 Stanford - blowout win in Austin
1999 N.C. State - 3 point loss in Austin
1998 UCLA - blowout loss in Westwood
Total Record:
In Austin: 2-4
On the road: 6-2
In back-to-back year series, Texas only went 2-0 once (North Carolina) and only won in Austin twice.
Why is 1998 so important? Mack Brown's first season was 1998.

Seeing a lot of people on this board, not just Ole Miss fans, who think they are going to go into Austin and manhandle the Longhorns.
Um, where?
I've never seen or heard an Ole Miss fan say that we should "destroy" Texas next year. Do we have a shot to win? Sure, but "destroy?" Come on.

Yeah, I remember, and we will do each of them again before OM does it.

4. Mack Brown is still the head coach.
As long as he is walking the side lines they have a very good chance to beat Texas

They were a dangerous team at the end of this past year. If OM can build off of that, then they will be a tough time for any team.
They had some players that flat out knocked some LSU and Alabama guys on their arse...
I don't know if they'll be in the running for the SEC West, but it wouldn't surprise me if they beat some teams and keep them OUT of the race

Some things to think about...
The game in Oxford was early in the year before we had really established any kind of identity offensively and especially defensively. At that point in the season our D was playing on its heels. By the end of the season, I feel like a lot of that was corrected.
Next year:
1. The talent gap will be closed significantly
2. QB play should be better assuming Bro Wallace's shoulder is healed
3. Our defense will be exponentially better: DL will add talent, DT shackelford is returning, secondary had experience plus adding nick brassell will help
4. Revenge factor for getting embarrassed a year prior. OM is a dangerous team when it feels like its back is against the wall and has something to prove. This has always been the case.
5. There's a good chance Mack Brown has a heart attack when he sees the brothers Nkemdiche on the same team
Simply put, the 2013 OM team will be leaps and bounds better than the team Ut played at the beginning of 2012.
