Lacy against LSU : 7.5 YPC
Yeldon against LSU : 7 YPC
Hill against Bama : 3.7 YPC

Clowney has zero chance. The Heisman's an offensive award.
Clowney will be the Heisman favorite (if not, one of) going into next season.

A Bama thing is our starting RBs living up to the hype.
Meh..it's just because of the system yall use. We have a crowded backfield and run 4 guys a game so no one really stands out--Miles hopefully is going to a 1 or 2 back system

Lacy (countless threads on the SECr about how overrated he was. He had 1300 yards and wasn't healthy the first half of the year, and by his own account wasn't at 100% until the ND game), and now Yeldon.
Any current LSU back would look like a heisman contender in Bama's backfield as the feature back..FACT
Take your pick of:
Ware
Ford
Hill
Hilliard
Blue
All would flourish in that role

Hasn't turned out well for the last few favorites.

How many yards he have again? Hill had only 50 yards less than your whole team had combined rushing that night

Unlike the last few favorites, I have complete confidence Clowney will be able to back his shite up.

YPC is a better stat considering those two actually split carries.
Lacy/Yeldon both had 11 carries, Hill had 29. If both had 29 Lacy would've had 218 yards and Yeldon would've had 203. That is if both had 29 carries and their YPC maintained the same as it was.
So keep throwing out Hill's total yards all you want, Lacy/Yeldon both had a better game.

This must be bama reasoning at its finest
Yeldon and Lacy both had less rushing yards than Hill, yet Yeldon and Lacy both had the "better game"?
Stats speak for themselves. If a freshman running back can carve up chunks of yards on that defense, it's gonna be scary when this guy is a junior

i think mett is just trying to look as much like a rapist as possible

He went full rapist on that Tide secondary last year

They both had less than half of the same number of carries, about twice his YPC. Sounds like you claiming he had a better game is LSU reasoning at the finest.
Lacy : 11 carries for 83 yards (7.5 YPC) 1 TD 2 REC for 19 yards.
Yeldon : 11 carries for 76 yards (6.91 YPC) 1 REC 28 yards and the game winning TD in Death Valley against that oh so wonderful defense.
Hill : 29 carries 107 yards (3.7 YPC lolololololol) 1 TD3 REC 12 yards (4 YPC lolololol)

Hopefully no one's girlfriend dies in the offseason that could have a big impact.

Really surprised cooper isn't being mentioned. Dude is a stud and by far the scariest aspect of your offense. Countless times I watch AJ just throw a dead duck up there and cooper out fought the db for a big gain. If AJ had a stronger arm cooper would be unstoppable in college.

Not being biased, but many of my Bama friends as well as I see no way that McCarron can even compete in the same freaking galaxy for a Heisman going against players like JFF and Clowney. I'm not dissing the guy, McCarron gets the job done. He does what is needed, but he doesn't completely change the game when he steps on the field. Bama is much better off pushing a RB rather than McCarron.

Sherman left A&M stacked with O line talent. Don't expect much if any drop off there. The Ags will be young at some other positions, but I'm not too concerned about the trenches.

Another area that will surprise some people is the A&M running game. There will be 3 dangerous RBs rotating through with big time play making ability plus a Tra Carson as the big back plus Johnny Twinkletoes. A bunch of yards on the ground to keep eveyone from dropping everyone into coverage. Prepare Uranus.
