They gave South Carolina all they could handle, with and without the help of the refs, and also outplayed Notre Dame despite losing the game. We kicked their asses, 41-14.

But yeah, the 2012 version of Alabama has overachieved. LSU was supposed to be the team to beat from the West but they couldn't quite finish the deal in a few of their games this year, including ours. This is probably the best coaching job Saban has done since he's been at Alabama because this is a young team that is not as talented as the last three we've fielded.

This team has definitely exceeded my expectations for this year. Hope they do it some more tomorrow night!

No they haven't. They started #1 in some polls.

I think LSU , A&M, Florida , USC all would have had one loss had they played Bama's schedule.

UGA? Really. They weren't on your schedule.
Fact:
Bama played 2 of the top 5 SEC teams.
LSU played 4 of the top 5 SEC teams

That's all that matters.

Agreed. This was suppose to be somewhat a down year, by that I mean about 10 wins. This was suppose to be LSU's year.
It would have been had we not lost 8 starters from our spring game. How good would Bama be if y'all lost Barrett Jones, Fluker, Cyrus, Eddie lacy, dee milliner, Mosley and Harris?
That's basically what LSU lost. 2 to suspension an the rest to injury

Seems to be an indictment of your strength and conditioning program.

1. Michigan overrated team. 2. LSU has no offense. But in the toughest opponent you faced and one so congrats here. 3. A&M beat y'all. 4. UGA had Richt shite the bed like usual in a big game. This happening should never have been in doubt from the start so it lowers the quality of the win considerably. Yeah such a tough schedule you've had so far.
Notre Dame struggled with Michigan and was taken to overtime by Pitt. The same Pittsburg team that was blown out by Ole Miss.

Exactly who has anyone played. It all equals out.

That's easy to say when Bama has played USC 0 times, UGA 0 times, and UF 1 time after next year's schedule.

FIFY
The OL issues for LSU were huge. There is no way around it. Bama without Warmack and Jones is hurting on the OL especially if you lose both early in the season and not the offseason when you have time.

Was I arguing ND had a tough schedule? No. I agree there's was piss easy thus why they are undefeated. (and should have 1 loss already if not for refs screwing them) @ least though they beat one of the 2 good teams they had handily. What good team has Bama beaten this year? Go on I'll wait for your answer. And don't act like Bama's was hard either. Y'all had the 2nd easiest in the conference behind only
UGA.
UGA.

Alabama is a 3 loss team, I've been saying this all season long. There is no dominant team this year. Notre Dame is also a 3 loss team as well as LSU...Ha, Ha!!! It takes a good football team with some luck to make the NC game. Two good football teams made this years NC game with some luck. But don't tell Bama and ND. They both feel they are head and shoulders over all other college football teams.
