Do u suppose defense will be our main objective this class? I hope so

Yea I think Petrino left some deficiencies from missing on ALL of his top end targets in the last 2 classes while he was here.

The secondary sure seems to be their biggest concern, part of that likely has to do with the few early commits we did have were at other positions of need so the urgency isn't quite as profound.

I'm surprised that Taver hasn't really pulled any of the Ohio kids he's targeted but I'm sure he's been instrumental with the guys we have commited from LA and the DB's.

For me WR is a position I'm kinda worried about because attrition really hurt us there and we don't any top level WR talent in the state that aren't coming out of JUCO. Marquel and Peterson would be poised for their stardom years if they weren't greedy a-holes.

OL looks to always be a priority, Thank God. I love how other fanbases tell us we can't win going back to the type of system that we had been successful with for over 30 years. When we've made runs at winning the SEC we've had a really strong line, good RB's, and an athletic Defense.

I don't have to say it but we're paying these guys to upgrade recruiting and bring in next level type of athletes, and not a couple every few years, but we're shelling out the money, building the facilities, and making the investments to become a next level program again.

I could see the class shaking out with

QB - 1
RB - 2
FB - 1
WR - 2
TE - 2
T - 3
G - 2
c - 0 Charpentier and the Bville kid will play until Rogers gets here.

DE - 3
DT - 3 (Frazier being the 4th)
LB - 2
CB - 4
S - 2

If we get Frazier and end up with 4 DT's then we may roll with 3 CB's and Wingo might be the odd man out. We might only take 2 OT or 1 OG and grab another LB. However, with position changes that often happen at the college level and the attrition required by the 85 scholarship limit with 100 players signed during a 4 year cycle; who knows how the roster will shake out

He did get Murphy from Georgia. It seems like most of the Ohio kids he is after are for 2015.

The majority of posters on here don't know anything outside of their own team. They just parrot something they herd elsewhere as fact.
