i dunno, i would think the coaches would take him.

i was wondering if this was a either a sign that the coaches don't think Wingo will sign with Arkansas, or if some of the others are being recruited for different positions besides CB. 4 DB's in a single class seems like a lot, offset only a bit by one of them being a JUCO.

He is such a versatile athlete. He could play CB, S or RB.

yeah, wondering if maybe we had insight on this, or Toliver or Murphy's prospects at different positions.

We need all the help we can get imo amongst the DB's.

srsly. i am really excited to see what Tevin Mitchell does this year.

We've got 27 spots I believe. I can see us taking up to 7 maybe 8 DBs.

We really don't have a lot of talent there and these offenses we'll be facing we'll probably run more nickel than we expect. Lots of WRs to defend in the SEC and especially OOC.

We need a lot of DBs. Pass defense has been an Achilles.

New Smyrna, Fl. I live in Orlando. It's the best beach in central FL that isn't infested with you nasty tourists.

All tourists are equally bad. Unless they're college aged females on spring break who like to remove their clothing.

Lamin update from RD

quote:

FAYETTEVILLE — DL Abu Lamin said Arkansas is definitely, definitely one of the schools he's thinking about every morning when he wakes up after his official visit.
He said Arkansas has the best facility in football. He said a person has to see it himself to understand.
Lamin loved being able to spend time with Coach Bret Bielema, defensive line coach Charlie Partridge, offensive line coach Sam Pittman and graduate assistant Terrance Butler.
He said Bielema and Pittman have been talking to his mother during the whole process.
During the tour of the football facility he was able to see a dance off among the players. He said the players to get him involved but he declined. He did say he was impressed with the moves of Robert Thomas, Bryan Jones and Trey Flowers.
He plans to attend a game during the season because Butler told him the game atmosphere was insane.
Nebraska and Auburn are fighting it out for his visit for next week. He said Tennessee will get his fifth visit.
Lamin said he plans to have his decision made by the sixth game of the season.

I sent the 3 from Florida a DM on twitter asking them what they thought and where we stood. They haven't been on twitter much since they got to town, so hopefully they will respond after they head home tomorrow.
