More dominant: SEC baseball or football?

SEC starts out with 5 teams in the top 10 in baseball, have probably at least 7-8 teams that have a legit chance at winning the SEC.
I still say football is more dominant, but I think baseball is a close second.

We had 3 out of 8 teams in Omaha last year
We had 3 out of 8 in 2011. (4 if you count TAMU)

Trust me, I know how great SEC baseball is. You also have to remember, if their was an 8 team playoff the SEC would have 4 teams competing for a title this year.

Football. It's the #1 NCAA sport and we presently have 6 teams in the BCS Top 10.

I don't know...but I can tell you this much...
MSU baseball schedule:
#4 LSU
@ #8 Kentucky
@ #1 Arkansas
#24 Florida
@ #26 Texas A&M
Auburn
@ #3 Vanderbilt
Alabama
@ #25 Ole Miss
#7 South Carolina
We Miss #29 and the 2 unranked teams in the east. RPI/SOS shouldn't be a problem....

SEC 5 out of top 10 in baseball is one less than football right now (6 out of 10).
It's probably still football. The six in a row, possibly 7 in a row speaks volumes. Other conferences at least sneak a few in now and then in baseball.

Yankee schools don't really play NCAA baseball that much because it's cold as frick or snowing in Feb/March. So, I would say baseball only because it's a straight-up butt rape when only half the country can participate.
On the other hand, yankees do participate in football and STILL sit around fingah poppin' each other's iiass hos [/21jumpstreet]**, so maybe football is more dominant.

I'm still in shock we are preseason #1.
I mean I knew we'd be high, but I assumed 3 or 4.
8 more weeks.

The Pac-12 is the only conference that can really test our dominance in baseball but they are still nowhere close to us. Top to bottom, we're much more dominant in baseball.

I HATE Pac 12 baseball. This is after watching Oregon State. I could swear I was watching a little league baseball team. Their antics were pathetic.

6 straight NCs, seventh right around the corner, and no end in sight. The same honestly cannot be said of baseball.
Baseball is deeper, football is stronger.

This is the best way of putting it and I couldn't have said it better.

I know this thread is about baseball and football, but what about track? Arkansas, Florida, LSU, and aTm are extremely strong track and field programs. Does any other conference come close?
